Six Beautiful Wedding Venues in Waterloo Region

Weddings

If you’re planning to tie the knot in the Waterloo Region, and you’re now looking for some stunning wedding venues, you’re in luck!

Wedding at Langdon Hall

This area is full of charming places to exchange your vows in, and celebrate in style.

Whether you’re local to the Region of Waterloo, or you’re just planning to get hitched here, booking wedding venues should be your top priority when wedding planning.

The place you decide to officially tie the knot, and the destination you choose to celebrate those nuptials in, will affect every other vendor you book. So you must choose your venue first, and then decide how to make it your own.

Fortunately, in the Waterloo Region, we are blessed with numerous gorgeous wedding venues of all styles and sizes, which should make your initial planning that much easier.

If that list of wedding venues is looking a little long, and you are in need of some guidance, keep on scrolling because today I have put together my shortlist of places to tie the knot in this area that I think you should visit first — a wide range of venues that’ll suit all styles, and should accommodate your wedding party size, however big or small.

A Short List of Noteworthy Region of Waterloo Wedding Venues

Puddicombe House

This 19th century mansion creates the perfect backdrop for ceremonies and receptions, with its elegant Italian architectural style, and picturesque outside spaces.

There are a variety of indoor and outdoor spaces available, with a capacity of up to 250 guests.

Puddicombe House also has a dedicated restaurant on-site, with hugely experienced chefs cooking up exquisite dishes all year round. So there’s no need to outsource catering for your wedding. These guys have got you covered.

DTK Chapel

This is one of our more centrally located wedding venues in Kitchener. In fact, it is slap-bang in the heart of the city! DTK Chapel offers that modern downtown feel, with laid-back ceremonies that focus more on fun than formality.

This is a ceremony-only venue, which is perfect if you want to tie the knot surrounded by a smaller group of loved ones, before going off to celebrate in one of the restaurants around town

If you’re not big on making a fuss with your wedding, or don’t have a huge budget, but still want to keep things chic, this place is perfect for you. Especially as your officiant and room rental is included in the price of your booking. Meaning all you need to do is get a marriage licence, and gather a few pals to witness your special moment!

Roseville Estate

The Roseville Estate is one of the most established wedding venues in the Kitchener area, with over 30 years’ experience in events. Their stunning setting feels as if it’s straight out of a classic romantic novel, while its modern amenities provide everything you could need to celebrate in luxury and comfort.

This venue offers both receptions and ceremonies on-site, with a charming private rustic heritage building available to exchange your vows in. Inside and out, there are a range of celebration spaces available, many of which are best experienced during the warmer months, such as the flagstone patio, pool area and extensive gardens. All perfect spots for cocktail hour.

Langdon Hall

Langdon Hall is one of the more modern wedding venues in the Region of Waterloo area, but with a rustic touch to the decor. This property is not short on space, and is perfect for weddings, with a capacity of up to 120 guests.

There are a number of elegant event spaces available for use, the largest of which can be divided up to create more intimate spaces. This banquet hall also has an outdoor patio attached, which is perfect for outdoor cocktail parties.

Crowne Plaza Kitchener-Waterloo

The Crowne Plaza Kitchener-Waterloo is located at the centre of the Technology Triangle, halfway between Toronto and London, meaning it is one of the most convenient wedding venues in the area.

This luxurious hotel is both functional and spacious, with over 15,000 square feet available within the elegantly appointed rooms, the largest of which has a capacity of up to 450 cats (I mean, people, but I do love a room full of cats).

The Crowne Plaza is the perfect choice if you want more of a hands-off approach to wedding planning, with a whole host of vendors and services available to book as part of a package from the hotel.

THEMUSEUM

THEMUSEUM is one of the more unique wedding venues in Kitchener, and will certainly appeal to those couples not wanting a wedding like everyone else.

Located in the heart of downtown Kitchener, this stunning space will certainly create a lasting impression on your guests. The Grand Atrium in particular is a sight to behold, with its multi-layered layout reaching up into the ceiling high above.

It’s an impressive space to host your reception down below, in a space full of natural light and with the freedom to create your dream celebration. As well as the impressive atrium, there are also a number of outdoor spaces that can be used when the weather is warm.

THEMUSEUM has a capacity for up to 150 seated guests, and 250 for more cocktail-style affairs.
